The proportional rule

According to insurance, a piece of a surface supétieure to 30 or 40 m2 account for both. If you have declared a three-piece so that the insurer recognizes four, your compensation will be reduced proportionately. So if you paid 300 euros for a three-piece then you should have paid 400 euros for four rooms, your compensation will be reduced by a quarter.
To avoid such disappointment, be sure to report the exact number of pieces and their respective surface when the contract was so good that you report the number of parts. Better, if you have a housing plan, bring it to your asureur which can then count the exact number of pieces.
